Ode to the Fanmilk Man

When I’ve arrived in town and I’m fatigued
When I’ve finished my day and I need to relax
There is always a man who knows what I need
It’s the Fan Milk Man who has all our backs
When things aren’t going my way, he has FanChoco
When the sun is out and unyielding, he has FanIce
When I’ve ended up in Sokodé, he has FanGold
I’m assured knowing to find you from Lomé to Burkina Faso
Even with just Tampico, you will still suffice
This bliss which you bring, I will forever hold.

Hope you enjoyed this. I haven’t written any poems since my high school english class, but being bored in Togo make you do all sorts of things.
